The Department of Economics of Democritus University of Thrace organizes and operates in accordance with the provisions of Law 4485/2017 Postgraduate Program of 2nd Cycle full-time study Master of Science (M.Sc.) entitled “Finance – Accounting“.
The Postgraduate Studies generally aim at the promotion of knowledge, the development of research and arts, as well as the satisfaction of the educational, research, social, cultural and developmental needs of the country, in the training of high level scientists capable of contributing to theoretical and applied areas of specific disciplines, special topics or subsectors of the cognitive objects of the first cycle of studies of the relevant Departments as well as in the production and transmission of knowledge, know-how, tool methodologies and research results in the scientific field of each Department.
The purpose of this postgraduate course is:
The specialization of Graduates of Economics or Graduates of other University Institutions of other sciences, with educational orientation, in the subjects dealt with in the directions of Finance and Accounting in order to enhance the scientific knowledge and the critical education, in a rigorously updated learning context with the latest developments in the science of Finance and Accounting respectively.
